Capital Line LRT

I've always found Gov't Centre station a bit odd, especially arriving and taking the escalators into a LEGO house.

"Odd" is a funny way of saying hauntingly liminal and beautiful. I LOVE the vibe of our mid-century modern underground station architecture and how each station is kinda unique in its own way. Could some stations like Central get revitalization work done and better sight lines? Sure, but the character itself has always been super interesting to me.

One of my criticisms of our city, is our desire to try constantly make almost everything old more modern looking. Perhaps because our city is newer we don't have as much comfort and acceptance of structures from various eras.

Yes, we can improve site lines and revitalize some things, but lets keep the overall vibe and character of these stations, they are fine as they are.

I totally get what you're saying (and I agree that we should keep what's fun and quirky), but I don't think "hauntingly liminal" is what we should be going for in a major transit station!
