Blatchford

New map just came out, with minor changes. A few more plots in the northwest are now in the planning stage, along with the parcel bordering the energy centre to the east. Most notably though, they finally marked NAIT's land so that it's clear whose court the ball is in.

New map came out today, and three new areas moved from planning to construction: the next phase of Blatchford West, the first stage of Blatchford East (medium and high density, along with the promenade on the east side of the central park), and just the tip of Blatchford Market where the sewer heat exchange will be. I think M.A.P. already switched to that next phase in the west, because these past few weeks I've seen a bulldozer constantly at work at the top of the large hill, and dump trucks depositing more excavated dirt up there. I was confused about where all this new dirt was coming from, but it makes sense now. It's nice to see they're getting a jump on things.

Off topic, but the fence blocking the middle Streetside units from Fane Mews was removed the other day, which was a pleasant surprise this morning when I was walking to the LRT. I'm guessing the sidewalk connection won't be too far behind.
