The walk from City Hall to the Moss Pit is a lot nicer now, but I can't help but think it's still a bit janky. The section between 101 and 102 St still feels like a back alley, while the wider sidewalks feel empty... or lived in.

With that new clinic/pharm/methadone space on 100st/103A, the east end of this is a real adventure.

Are there any patios between 101-102?
And what about patios on 100-101st with all that space?

Isn't it the other way around -- Joey has a patio and Guru doesn't?

The issue is the frontage is too spotty, with loading zones, garbage bins, and parkade entrances interspersed between.

Losing Rose and Crown was a big blow, glad to see O'Byrne's take over that location.

It would be really nice to see the City designate the cross of 102 St (Delta to the Casino) and 103 Ave (City Hall to Miss Pit) as an entertainment district, especially during the playoffs and other big arena events.

I drove by twice today.
Guru and Delux have patios. However, both of them are unused.
Ditto for Pazzo Pazzo.
Joey does not not have a patio unless it's hidden away somewhere in the alley.

Overall, another missed opportunity by the city.

We should replace the "City of Champions" signs at our entrances with "City of Missed Opportunities" signs.

Joey's doesn't have a fenced off area but they open the windows and put out a tables in the summer, or at least they did a couple years ago. Same with Amore before the construction started.

Even the BP at Edmonton Tower doesn't have a patio -- it's a crying shame.

I hope Pazzo Pazzo is doing better now. The owners got busted a few years back for smuggling booze and they were forced to shut down for a while.

Perhaps this street may be busier during a few events, but I feel it doesn't generally have enough traffic flow to support a number of patios. Although it would be nice if O'Byrnes added a patio.

Maybe if the big parking lot on the north east part is redeveloped into something big residential and commercial that would make a difference and add sufficient residents and businesses to this area.
