Century Gardens at Century Park | ?m | 7s | ProCura Real Estate | Gardner Architecture

Automatic guns weren't a danger in this country when they were legal compared to large vehicles, though. SUVs are far more dangerous to the general public than guns.

Valley Line LRT | TransEd/Marigold | City of Edmonton

"Edmonton drivers" Way too many of these collisions are caused by commercial truckers. I want crossing arms in these industrial areas.

    Prairie Sky Gondola | 76.2m | ?s | Prairie Sky | DIALOG

Gondolas famously don't exist in areas which have harsh winter climates. Give me a break.

    Prairie Sky Gondola | 76.2m | ?s | Prairie Sky | DIALOG

This is such a bad faith argument being made here.

Have you ever been to Edmonton? The River Valley is like 400' deep.

ETS should just take the project and run with it, integrate it into ARC. This combined with development of Rossdale powerplant would be financially sufficient like The Forks in Winnipeg. Naysayers of the gondola don't understand how difficult it is to get from Strathcona to DT.

    The Edmonton Elks - CFL

I understand this isn't the Greycup thread, but I'm in Winnipeg for the game. I can post photos if you guys are interested. The stadium really puts ours to shame. Sad considering how wealthy Edmonton/Alberta is!

Bar Oro is right there with recently expanded hours. It was even packed on Remembrance Day. I agree with @IanO this building doesn't need CRUs. Thanks Westrich, Maclab, and the city for bringing this area to life.

CN Tower - Office to Residential Conversion - 111m (364')

The floorplans are good for the area. It will draw in the younger demo, and to point made by @Offworld, it's probably going to receive grant money. For alot of younger DT residences your dwelling is a place to sleep. I guess I'm getting older (29), but I'm not seeing the appeal of a larger...

They're not on display, they're being stored at the Gerry Wright OMF.

Ridership on VLSE shouldnt be a concern until VLW is done. There are no major southbound trip generators.

    Commonwealth Stadium

Puts Commonwealth to shame. What a great thing for Ottawa football fans.

    Rossdale

Such a miss by city council. There isn't a better place where $150 million could be spent on transit expansion than a gondola connection from DT Edmonton to Strathcona. The bussing situation is frustrating, driving is terrible (even if you own a car), walking takes forever, and biking isn't fast...

Valley Line LRT | TransEd/Marigold | City of Edmonton

The 103rd Ave intersections. They were installed 1-2 months ago and are covered temporarily. This is to accommodate the closure/rerouting of the 102 Ave bike lanes.

    Downtown

@IanO The Kelly's patio was packed last night around 6:15

The bike lane signals are all installed and look to be essentially permanent.

    The Edmonton Elks - CFL

The tarps in the north end zone need to go. Stands should be added in the south end zone for 2027 when the field changes. The atmosphere was much better this game.
  19. B

    Commonwealth Stadium

The bowl needs to be sunken, the end zone seating needs to be square to the field instead of rounded. The track cutouts need to be removed, the stands need to atleast be as close to the field as Winnipeg (or any other modern stadium). Commonwealth is a disaster in it's current state. Most...
