Is this something where additional users/development on the utility will help with the rates (e g. from economies of scale)? Or is this something where potentially the future expansions of the utility may end up getting canned in the future if it continues to be a loss generator?

    Stollery Children's Hospital

Any chance the existing Canada Blood Services building could be used/converted for additional capacity at the UofA Hospital?

    Meadowlark Apartments | RMS Group

I'm probably the only one who doesn't hate how it looks. The grey squares by the windows are probably unnecessary and the street level activation could be better, but in person I don't think it looks awful.

    Yellowhead Trail Upgrades

I don't think there needs to be another active transportation connection here. There's already a SUP along the LRT line.

Has the site been confirmed as the Canadian Blood Services site?

Or maybe the Holiday Inn or Double Tree.

Would be neat if someone did like an Enbridge 2 and used a similar design for continuity maybe with some hotel and residential.

    Yellowhead Trail Upgrades

I'm not convinced the 66 Street interchange is even essential, especially in an environment where it would be valuable funds for the City to save (or not have to pay extra for if over budget already)

    Edmonton International Airport (EIA/YEG)

    My bad! Missed it.

Wow that would be huge for that corner, especially if they could get a good cafe to go in there.

    ICE Tower

This was issued a development permit, what is reporting it going to do?

    North | 125.88m | 40s | Lamb Dev Corp | a—A

Must be. Would be unbelievable to get that spot developed amongst all the others. Wonder if they're going to go the full height allowed in the DC2

    Downtown

I'm not sure it's an assumption. The letter of understanding is available in the collective agreement that can be downloaded from the union's (CSU52 anyway) website if you wanted to interpret the wording yourself, but basically the City can direct employees back with 30 days notice at their...

    132 Ave Renewal

Is 132 Avenue not already well connected to Athlone and Wellington?

    Municipal Politics

Ohhh boy. That said, it looks like a lot of the votes actually came from Roger Kotch so I'm curious if the results were misentered. Not that it makes anything better because it draws a lot more into question.

Spruce Grove Metro Ballpark | ?m | ?s | Gold Sports And Entertainment

Been no activity onsite since July. The site was rezoned to allow for use as a storage facility (built within the building) recently but haven't seen any contractors on site in a while. Spin2 shows that there's two liens on the site now so who knows what's happening.
