Are you sure the project you are talking about isn't on the other side of Blatchford? I'd be surprised if the Crimson Cove units weren't individually metered since they are freehold. The NX Build project would make more sense to have a central mech room.

I don't think they are abandoned, as there has been slow but continual progress on these since they broke ground. They have been much slower than the ones being built by other builders nearby, but I'm guessing that is due to them being a really small developer...

I wish they had used the same quantity of brick to just make the bottom ~3 floors entirely brick and leave the rest stucco

The design lacks in both colour and interesting shapes. Look at some quick examples I pulled off Google. Not even saying it needs to have housing above (but would make sense towards the goals of blatchford), but look at the more interesting brick and shapes.

I think from the floorplans and the slight transparency (easier to see on the South building) the wood geometric paneling is on top of the window, so looks like they are sticking with the renders pretty closely. Neat idea to handle windows into a bathroom!
