I honestly wonder if it's worth prioritizing an extension all the way from Ellerslie to YEG now. Allowing neighbourhoods to build around an existing LRT for years to come has a lot of advantages, along with a direct connection to the airport.

Agreed. But let's consider keeping mid-rise elevations off of that stretch of 124 Street and just slightly off of it. There's a charm to the scale of buildings that are already there that keeps it unique.
