    The Mercury Block | 21.7m | 6s

Yup, fair enough. And the previous posts could also be correct that the initial pricing was above market, and this is just an adjacent that should just take it where it should be (assuming it still works with their proforma). I think this is why you are seeing for calls from the private sector...

    The Mercury Block | 21.7m | 6s

Not sure that is great news. Construction prices continue to increase, so if rent rates are not keeping pace, you are going to see a lot more fancy renderings that never get built because a bank will not take the risk to finance until the revenue provides a safe margin...or you might see a lot...

    Stantec Tower | 250.84m | 66s | ICE District Prop.

Ogilvie LLP is directly below where the valve blew and their entire space is essentially ruined, but it sounds like a few of the floors below them also saw heavy damages. What a mess.

    CNIB Redevelopment | 106m | 32s | ONE Properties | Wallman Architects

I am going to assume those deep pockets (in this instance) are One Properties. Investing an in A+ food experience on their main floor through a proven operator to add value to their residential above, and the entire building overall.

This place is gonna do very well.

    10028 - 142 STREET NW | ?m | 4s

There are also a couple of 8-plexes under construction across on the street (West side of 142nd Street, along 104 Avenue) from Franken Homes So LOTS going on along 142nd Street.

    10028 - 142 STREET NW | ?m | 4s

There are a number of similar scale projects coming to 142 Street. West Block's next building (6-story apartment) should be starting here shortly. On the corner of 142nd & 106th Avenue a 19-unit townhouse project is moving forward. There is a proposal for supportive housing located on the...

    CNIB Redevelopment | 106m | 32s | ONE Properties | Wallman Architects

Had some friends stop by Olia this weekend now that it is open, and they snuck a few photos of the Lobby Bar, which should open up here very soon. Looks AWESOME.

    Old Royal Alberta Museum

I walked by today and the stone looks is really really rough shape...obviously due to several years of no maintenance and care. Not a stone expert, but are we certain that everything on the exterior can be fully restored or did the gap in care make it difficult to salvage?

    The Mercury Block | 21.7m | 6s

If the deal proceeds (assuming conditions are not removed already), I have heard this will be a retail store and not a restaurant

    CNIB Redevelopment | 106m | 32s | ONE Properties | Wallman Architects

Stopped by Va this week and it was definitely hopping. Hard to see in my photo, but there are partition walls up so I assume the space will eventually open up to the Lobby Bar. Have to imagine this building is going to be one of the most popular choices for renters with the main floor...

Edmonton City Centre Mall (Renovations) | ?m | 2s | LaSalle Investment Management

I assume Herrington's is the same flower business that recently closed at West Block, and just moved their operation to CCM?

    Massey Ferguson Building Redevelopment | ?m | 48s | Rise Real Estate | WZMH

I'm going off 3rd party information, so wouldn't be the trusted source on that question, but I have been told they have executed a student housing project in Kelowna...so that's something?

    Massey Ferguson Building Redevelopment | ?m | 48s | Rise Real Estate | WZMH

Sounds like the land is currently pending with a German group, short conditional period as well.

    Stantec Tower | 250.84m | 66s | ICE District Prop.

I hope the excitement of the playoff run and the number of bodies passing by will get any businesses taking another look at the vacant retail space

EVER (on Baseline Commercial Plaza) | Ever Red

Lol. Sure a lot of keyboard anger these days. It's a suburban style development in a...suburb community. Why the hell is Connor McDavid playing hockey with a HOCKEY stick instead of a ringette stick? What an ignorant and uninspired phony. He could choose to revolutionize the game but...

Edmonton City Centre Mall (Renovations) | ?m | 2s | LaSalle Investment Management

This is 3rd hand information...so take it no more than gossip...but I was told they also applied for the same grant for a similar concept downtown, but it went to North Shore because House of Wheels doesn't sound to be the most reliable operator.

Edmonton City Centre Mall (Renovations) | ?m | 2s | LaSalle Investment Management

My apologies if this has already been mentioned in the thread, but it sounds like North Shore Bike Park from Vancouver (https://northshorebikepark.ca/) is going to be one of the recipients of the downtown retail grant, and will be opening up an indoor mountain bike park inside ECC. Not sure...
