    Arc Smart Fare System

I thought we could buy up to 10 tickets at one much like the old TVMs. But if you were looking for Arc cards, yes it is one at a time.

Valley Line LRT | TransEd/Marigold | City of Edmonton

I'm not sure how easy it would be to change order a Lewis Farms Rec Centre expansion at this point especially considering the IPD nature of the project. Seems like an important town centre to serve not far away from the originally planned terminus.

    Terwillegar Drive Expansion

It's open now if you send it hard enough.

50 Street Widening & CP Rail Grade Separation

Does anyone know if pedestrian/bicycle access across the rail tracks still exists? I have to head down that way soon.

104st funicular - student concept - think outside of the box

I think there's a better business case for this funicular than the 100 St funicular (don't get me wrong, I like the 100 St funicular) as it would actually serve residents who would use it at all hours and year round. The stairs are sparsely used for the reasons David A pointed out.

    O-day’min Park (formerly Warehouse Park)

My toddler saw the playground from the 102 Avenue bike lanes and so badly wanted to go.

104st funicular - student concept - think outside of the box

If we're just talking about the 104 St Funicular concept, it would replace a set of wooden stairs from 99 Ave down to almost 98 Ave with something similar to but unique from the 100 St funicular. There are many condos and apartment buildings within the 2 block radius of the lower terminus and...

    ICE District Phase 2 | 149.95m | ?s | ICE District Prop.

There is a construction crane cutout in the 2nd floor slab and roof of the tenant space being fitted out. I don't know if this quite closes the door completely for a future tower but it does hinder it.

Cycling and Active Transportation in Edmonton

I do consider where I'm planning to go, how long I'm planning on being there, and my perceived risk on the likeliness it'll be stolen in that area. I'm happy my work has a fairly secure lock up place, although someone could break in if they really wanted to. But if all else fails, insurance. I...

Cycling and Active Transportation in Edmonton

The report indicated they're going to reconfigure the curbs a little to improve snow clearing. They're also going to deal with (or have dealt with) concrete quality issues, which likely also exists on Hermitage Road but they're not subject to being in the direct line of fire with errant drivers...

Cycling and Active Transportation in Edmonton

I'd be surprised if they didn't install curbs in the next couple of weeks. They must be fairly easy to put in if the city was able to casually take the 40 St ones out for reconfiguration.

    Yellowhead Trail Upgrades

Can I blow your mind a little more? I was curious if it ever got built out. It seems like they got as far as grading the land for the subdivision. 81 to 90 Ave: 88 Ave to 95 Ave, you can see the grade prep for 95 Ave, and the complex where Italian Centre and Spence Diamonds is.

    Yellowhead Trail Upgrades

Interesting. They way the roads are laid out indicates things were getting built out while the interchange still existed, likely until they were hindering traffic flow more than they helped it. Actually found this in the 1983 wards and polling map...

    Yellowhead Trail Upgrades

Did the interchange at Mayfield Road/170 St and Stony Plain Road really exist?

    106st-107st streetscaping

I'm confident Jasper Ave will reinvent itself. 103 St to 106 St has a good mix of places for food and beverages already, bringing people in and we're slowly bringing in more residents within a couple of blocks.

    Capital Line LRT

Oh nice. I heard the concerts ran super late, did they run the LRT and buses until the crowds were fully dispersed?

    Old Remand Centre Redevelopment | ?m | ?s | Boyle Street | Manasc Isaac

I'm on team keep some sort of overpass, but I wonder how the current one is doing structurally? And if it were to be replaced, is it feasible? Could a new one be built not as thick since it only has to support pedestrians and maybe a maintenance vehicle or food trucks, in addition to static...

    Capital Line LRT

A rare five car U2 trainset on the Capital Line yesterday. The fifth car is hidden as I realized too late that there were five cars, but you can see the fifth pantograph.

Valley Line LRT | TransEd/Marigold | City of Edmonton

That's a different detour between 130 St and 132 St.

Valley Line LRT | TransEd/Marigold | City of Edmonton

They are going to shift the 102 Ave bike lane to 103 Ave between 103 St and Railtown Park in the next 2-3 weeks to accomodate Valley Line construction.
