I don't have a problem with the building, but the site layout and orientation. Especially since this area is either in an identified secondary corridor (Or very close to, hard to tell for sure with this map). Here is the City's description of what secondary corridors should be like:

It's been like that for a while. I think it is still the utility work but still exciting nonetheless! Stoney Plain is one of my favorite roads between 124th and 149 street, so I am excited for it to be even nicer with a lil' train zoomin by.
Although I agree with you, and I remember (and share) lots of your thoughts surrounding other projects like centennial/103A ave, etc., it would be cool to hear more of your thoughts on how this project could be less passive and more imaginative :D
The bridge requirement was more due to the capital line bridge not being sufficient for servicing more lines, considering long term expansions and plans for capital north/south and metro line. The bridge would be needed from a capacity perspective. But lucky for us (This makes me so sad) the...
My only concern with Valley Line, both legs, is how low the City's projects are for ridership for them, especially compared to Capital Line and the NW Metro Line extension. Hope the projections are just super conservative, or don't account for changes to land use due to the line.
Just a random thought, but would anyone here prefer if no tower was built and we just had the podium here? Especially if the tower design is a little sub par?
