    Edmonton International Airport (EIA/YEG)

Took the LRT + 747 to YEG the other day at ~10am. It was PACKED and they do not want people standing for the run; some were asked to get off. I wonder if every 15mins for morning peak? 8-10?

Many of them are, but it looks more like a uniform failure than anything. Odd.

    Capital Line LRT

Unsure if vandalism or temp fluctuations, but MANY of the pedway windows at Century Park were not in good shape the other day. It was very consistent, which makes me believe it was a product failure, but odd given how long they have been there.

Again, there is a fine line between 'affordable' and 'cheap' and without higher rents, infill projects can stall and/or not pencil. The reality is that 5-10% rent growth would not be a bad thing for this city in that regard and would trigger a number of new projects in key core areas.

124 Street BIA / Westmount General Discussion

Yes and no. I agree in part, but there is room and opportunity to add 4-6 storey to parts of 124 to add density on top of 124 like West 4th.

    Downtown Crime

In Vancouver right now for work. While Granville and East Hastings certainly are very poor and deep in issues, overall it's much, MUCH different here compared to some of the challenges our city is facing. We MUST deal with open drug use, crimes of opportunity, gang activity and disorder.

Personally, I think it is again quite shortsighted to have removed 50% of exit capacity from 106st and now losing 103st south too. I get the complexity of the above, but it's going to cause a major issue for those leaving Downtown. Stupid.

    LRT Safety

The biggest issues and consistently problematic are the spaces from the top of the UG entrances to the stations. They added doors to these a few years ago for pressurization (I believe) reasons and should be taken off immediately and addressed another way. I call Transit Watch multiple times a...
