Valley Line LRT | TransEd/Marigold | City of Edmonton

Naaa, St.Albert is way too close to have a different type of train. Commuter lines would best serve Ft.Sask, Spruce Grove, Stoney Plain, Devon. St.Albert and Sherwood Park should be within the LRT network. Back to low floor valley line, I say extension to Meadows on the south side, branch at...

NorQuest College Singhmar Centre for Learning | ?m | 4s | NorQuest College | DIALOG

Looks great. Hope this actually happens as this would definitely improve the overall area.

    LRT Safety

Now, I know this would be a major overhaul to all our LRT stations but safety and comfort would be vastly improved if this was done. Considering the environment we live in why could we not have platform screens and doors. With those in place it would protect passengers from the tracks but also...

Too bad this building wasn't going to be further north near the other LRT station

    Strathearn Heights Redevelopment | 81m | ?s | Nearctic Group | GEC

That would be great, especially with LRT right there. I so wish all the proposed residential could be built in this general area. A ton of density could transform this area to something very vibrant.

    Blatchford Development | ?m | ?s | City of Edmonton

What I would really love to hear and see happen is NAIT to begin building in Blatchford lands to further see connections between this residential, the LRT and the school.

Spruce Grove Metro Ballpark | ?m | ?s | Gold Sports And Entertainment

That's looking great. I'd say this is where our downtown park needs to be upgraded.

    Legislature Grounds / Centennial Plaza

Well, at least it's basically done. 🙄😕🫤😵‍💫 One less construction site at least. It's ummmmm, new, that's a positive. What other positives can I say about it?

Valley Line LRT | TransEd/Marigold | City of Edmonton

Or even the Norquest stop. That would completely change ridership levels. I'm pretty certain that the new residential buildings at Millwoods Town Center will help the numbers too.

    Edmonton International Airport (EIA/YEG)

One key to the further success of the area is once the Leduc access bridge and road opens for direct access in and out of the area.

    Downtown Real Estate

So I am curious what others think. What are the top 5 empty lots in the downtown area between 97st to 109st and 99ave to 105ave that should be developed first. (SHOULD = That will impact the core the most)

    Blatchford Development | ?m | ?s | City of Edmonton

When I drove past the area the other day, the thing that impressed the most is how the construction has now crossed the road towards the lake and there was indications that more was starting soon. I like how the lake will soon feel like it is finally a part of the development. On a seperate...

EllisDon to Lead Prairie Link High-Speed Rail Partners - Edm-RD-Cal

I agree. There may be less flights in and out of Edmonton than Calgary I assume but we aren't just some little local airport.

Valley Line LRT | TransEd/Marigold | City of Edmonton

I just really hope we see continued increase at the Davies park'n'ride. Actually I'd love to see a business located nearby that would bring employees to the Davies area creating a constant larger usage in both directions.
