I would absolutely take a direct bus from downtown to YEG if it ran with any degree of frequency. It would cut two transfers for me over the 747 and be a considerable time saving. Even when I lived downtown adjacent, it would've reduced hassle. Back when we had SkyShuttle, I used to take that...
Yet our cafe scene underwent rapid diversification once Starbucks and Second Cup thinned their locations after over a decade of very little movement that wasn't Second Cup or Starbucks. Also, food court locations in office towers have significant disadvantages over anything street facing to many...
Bunch of my favourites on that list. CQ Noodles is great if you like spice. Rocky Mountain Ice House is one of the few places that keeps its patio open outside of summer. A&G Burgers is basically an off-brand Burger Baron and run by a rather wonderful family. I got hooked on Filistix when they...
Chinatown Re:Vita has been rather a bright spot in the neighbourhood, and has organized some pretty nice little events that have brought decent turnouts. I'm a big fan of their Chinatown After Dark events.

Well, it's something, and if it works, it could be a good start to things, but I'm taking anything involving Dub with a huge grain of salt nowadays. He's made a lot of noise over the years about doing things here, but not much has come of it.
So, I've officially moved in. It's an interesting experience because of all of the memories I have of the place as an airport. Given that my first word that I spoke was apparently "airplane", my dad used to bring me to the parking lot by the terminal or the observation area at the end of Runway...
