    TELUS Toll Building Mechanical Work | 73m | 12s | TELUS

Lights look amazing. It almost has a Dystopian feel to it now and I love it.

    McKernan Crossing | 30m | 9s | Fleming, Smythe & Cranston | Brian Allsopp

I agree, I think also we have a problem in this city where the subjectively subpar architecture firms seem to be getting a decent amount of the business. I won't name names but we all know who they are. This frustrates me because we do have some outstanding firms here that are forward thinking...

    McKernan Crossing | 30m | 9s | Fleming, Smythe & Cranston | Brian Allsopp

Oh definitely, just ideally not directly across the street from our beautiful University Campus.

94 ave and 130 st SW? Damn, that is deep south. Should be practically touching the Airport.

Or send them over to Jim Der's place, he's a master with the colour palette!

Excellent design, this is what I like to see if we can't have big windows anymore.

    Bateman Lands Mid-Rise | 34m | 8s | Bateman Properties | Next Architecture

Want to see a more detailed render for material quality but the design looks just fine imo

    Municipal Politics

I would like to see a Mayor that will continue implementing the vision put forth by Iveson and Mandel. I really, really don't want to go back to the way it was 25 years ago. I think we've moved on as a city in a lot of ways (namely voting in forward thinking mayors like Mandel and Iveson), but...

Still seems to have quality materials throughout the exterior. I like it.

My parents have that same T-Bar in their basement.

I hate to break it to Mr. Teeple, but when the exterior design turns into a meme that many across the country have taken the piss out of, he might want to reconsider that it's only Edmontonians who don't "get it".

Every time I see that colour gradient it reminds me of our Okuda San Miguel mural. This development is a gem.

I'm gonna say it comes down to the almighty $$$

Screw the building, I hope they put in that mountain as shown in the background.

    The MacLaren | 85.04m | 27s | Edgar | DIALOG

Oh definitely, I recognized the logo and the group's design aesthetic on the website. I meant more that it's nice to see us getting the first opportunity in the province to try a new restaurant concept.

    The MacLaren | 85.04m | 27s | Edgar | DIALOG

I bumped my rating of this building up a notch, because it looks absolutely stunning when you're coming down Groat Road by Hawrelak Park. The presence it has is something you don't get to see often in our city. The renders definitely didn't do it justice.

    The MacLaren | 85.04m | 27s | Edgar | DIALOG

Appears to be the first location of this particular restaurant in Alberta outside of BC. I hope it does well.

I was gonna say the same thing myself.
