I'd assume something like the new velodrome facility would be utilized too, maybe the Kinsmen too (does Calgary have a better pool? I have no idea). Commonwealth hosting the track and field portion of the games would be huge for the City. And what about this crazy idea... an athletes village...

No educated guesses certainly, but I would love to see one of the Vancouver developers like Westbank out here. Wonder if it'll be a property adjacent to the LRT somewhere. When you say large scale, do you mean like one bigger building or like large scale in terms of potentially multiple buildings.
