A small update on this Demo. From today.

This is super anecdotal, but I take the train almost everyday (Century to Churchill) and ridership has been pretty steady this year so far. Don't know if the numbers confirm that, but that's what it "looks" like lol Trains are definitely not running empty at all. Peak time frequency is running...

Got a quick shot of our biggest and brightest in the morning light. One of my favourite views of Wîhkwêntôwin. Incredible how dense it is and how much more densely developed it could be.

Small Update. East Plaza Demo from last week Tuesday (May 7). Probably mostly gone now. Main plaza work from this morning. Also, EPCOR Tower pedway connector.

In fairness, Edmonton already does have a Cyclotron facility at South Campus, which if I'm not mistaken was supposed to meet the medical isotope needs for all of Alberta at one point. At least that's that AHS was touting a while ago. Having a facility in Calgary is probably a plus, given the...

View from the North East.

Ground Floor has CRU's (daycare, convenience store, small eatery), but there is also a north facing entrance at the back there that opens into this proposed park. Currently used as a pathway to a ground floor entrance to EPCOR Tower, but has been closed for the last couple months due to a flood.

Pedway has been lifted into place. From July 17th.
