No offense to Oiler fans...but did you think Ingram and Jarry were going to be world beating goalies in the playoffs?

It's still 1-1 but Ingram is having his issues. And the Ducks are young and don't know better. They'll keep coming hard.

Top of the league PP and top scoring player both pointless so far. That trend is unlikely to continue through the series. Oilers winning at evens.

Credit to that scumbag Quenneville, he has that Ducks squad (esp 4th line) doing great work two games in.

That game doesn't really worry me. 97 has been bad, special teams has been bad, and goaltending was not great—it was a sloppy effort all around and yet, the Oilers still managed to outchance the ducks and were in the game right until the end. Last year the Oilers were awful on special teams the first two games vs. LA (- 6!!) and then turned it around and went on a tear. I fully expect the bad parts of their game will turn around. The only real worry should be 97s health, though thankfully, it is sounding more like a minor ankle roll. Game 3 will be interesting and I am fully expecting 97 to go nuclear—provided he's healthy, of course.

The tickets we just gave up are beside these and were offered to us $490 or something. This is the OEG mark up on single game and speaks to why many of us did not renew given what they are doing with pricing and a lack of appreciation towards fans in light of record revenues.

Hard pass.

A friend of mine was selling his tickets for last night’s game at a discount for $500 each. As much as I love going to a playoff game, that’s too rich for my blood.

Any prediction on how the guys will do in Anaheim? I still believe we’ll win this series, but the last game made me feel less confident let’s put it that way.
The good news is the series is tied and we haven’t had a point from McDavid nor any power-play production and we’re due.
