Does anyone have a prediction of when this will be starting?
Oh okay. I had heard there was a new highrise ready to begin construction. A friend of mine thought it was this one. From all reports it will be 'a while'.

Maybe that's the one, thanks!Falcon 2 is pretty close to starting
What are the other two high-rises?Maybe that's the one, thanks!
3 more high-rises breaking round, and Edmonton will be at Winnipeg's pace with 6! Sorry, that comment is for Maclab lol.
Switch Tower and possibly the Connect Centre one. The rest downtown are either mid-rises or office tower conversions, unless we get some surprise announcements. What are the other two high-rises?
Do we have a timeline for those two projects?Switch Tower and possibly the Connect Centre one. The rest downtown are either mid-rises or office tower conversions, unless we get some surprise announcements.
Switch apparently should start this year, based on what CBRE said in a report last year. Connect Centre might happen this year too but no timelines yet I think, besides wanting to get started as soon as possible from what other forum members have mentioned.Do we have a timeline for those two projects?
And you’re blocked….enough PEG’er talk…..Maybe that's the one, thanks!

Actually the number of units is not bad, maybe a lot of it is not as visible because they are conversions, but they still count.Switch apparently should start this year, based on what CBRE said in a report last year. If all goes well, we should have more than a thousand units break ground this year, either from new construction or from conversions. We've got almost 500 units of conversions happening already or soon from three projects (CN Tower, Highfield Place and McKenney) plus whatever comes from the WSP building and the Standard on Jasper (no clue how many units are planned for the latter one yet.)
Why don’t you start a Winnipeg thread under miscellaneous same as Jasper Grande Prairie etc. I for one would be interested in keeping abreast on developments there.Maybe that's the one, thanks!
