Edmonton Oilers

Duck-plucking season!
While it would be nice to see the Oilers win in four and for everyone on the team to be well rested going on to round two, the Ducks, unlike teams like the Avalanche and the Oilers, have absolutely nothing left to prove this season. While inexperienced, they don't know what they don't know, and they have speed and talent. They also don't have the same question marks in goal that the Oilers will carry until proven otherwise.

The Oilers will take it in 5, I can't see the Ducks being any better than the Kings. The round after that will be against actual playoff teams and that's when things get interesting. As a Jets fan, I'm pulling for The Mammoth, partly because they are descendants of the Original Jets, and partly because this is their first time in the playoffs under the Utah franchise.

The Ducks are in the playoffs because of how bad the Pacific division is. The Oilers record wasn’t a whole lot better but it’s because they were coasting all season waiting for the playoffs to start. Oilers in 5.

They are young, hungry and fast.

Edmonton in 6.
Could be 6, especially if the Oilers take the lightly, but ultimately, Edmonton is the better team and has a ton of playoffs experience. I would be shocked if Anaheim got out to an early series lead, but that inexperience will cease them to choke.

Pink Pony Club is out, Stayin' Alive is in for 2026 playoffs?
