We've seen markets in BHHP before. But I don't make the rules, all good questions for the City.

It seems to be a space along with the nearby park specifically designed for more organized even commercial events.

So maybe general park rules, which I understand and appreciate, but are designed for a different type of park are not as relevant for here. Hopefully that should be taken into consideration by the city.

What if the park's popularity grows, as it did in its first pre-VLSE iteration? Any thoughts given to potential future extensions? Also, while I understand the general idea about business activities not being allowed in park spaces, this seems a bit...punctilious? persnickety? when it comes to the farmers' market. The heritage days vendors are able to sell things on the Hawrelak site, are they not?

I couldn't agree more. I'd be happy if we made an exception here.
