to be fair, the first goal on Jarry was definitely not his fault. A double bounce on two Oilers' players on a screened shot. He saved 17 or the next 18 shots (.944 sv%) and his total .889 sv% was not reflective of his overall play, he played way better than the scoresheet shows. He's definitely not out of the woods and Ingram definitely needs to remain the starter, but it was a step in the right direction for Jarry.

Not really… every game they lose makes the subsequent games more critical but every game they win makes the subsequent games less critical.

And where they are at the moment is simply confirmation that at the end of the season games played in October and November are just as crucial as those played in March and April.
