Wow, the often clever UCP communications people are stepping it in here. The first paragraph says similar, the second more, which is obviously contradictory.

The smarter approach would be to find some other projects in Edmonton to actually get to similar, maybe they are working on that quietly. I don't know.

Thats a sneaky way to not give us our fair share. Would be great to get some funding for the Commonwealth Stadium renovations.

Yes, I believe it was already included in the totals being discussed and is not an additional amount to make up the shortfall.

It would be cool if they could use similar metallic cladding to that used at Rogers to provide a bit of continuity/identity. Though, I'd fear it getting VE'd into the cladding used at Milner.

Intel tells me both primes and subs have been selected. Hearing that an aggressive timeline is expected in delivering the civil designs in the coming few months. Expect a development permit application sometime soon as well.
