Wow that's actually sort of cute

I don't know if I mentioned it before, but the steel cladding going on the public washroom building is left over from the Coronation Rec Centre project. I thought that was kinda cool.

I always wondered if they could have finished the Churchill Station entrance, right across from the AGA, with surplus zinc and stainless steel left over from the the AGA construction.

This definitely has the potential to look really cool. Looking forward to seeing the finished product.

There was a water leak at the park over the holidays which appeared to be from the public washroom. Looked like a heater shut down and the cold caused a pipe to burst. Does anyone know about this?

Yes. One of those doors is a small office.

Do those copper tiles have a protective coating to prevent patina? I hope they are fastened securely to prevent theft.

I am falling in love all over again with this little park and its upgrades -- it has a special meaning for me.

I have always liked this park, it has so many good features. It is nice to see the attention to renew/update it and better integrate the two parks.

However, one more thing - I do wish the hotel on the north side would take advantage of being next to it and develop a very nice patio or window area facing the park.
