Edmonton International Airport (EIA/YEG)

Statistics Canada has published the latest data on screened passenger traffic. These are passengers passing through security screening, not a count of all passengers.

Worryingly, Edmonton was one of only two airports in Canada to post screened passenger lower than November 2019 (-0.9%). The other was Ottawa (-4.9%).

The November numbers were quite brutal. I didn't think a lot of that was weather related either but concerned December might have some weather related impacts on numbers closing out the year.

Great! And I'll still be purchasing Porter and Air Canada flights whenever possible.
I honestly try and fly Porter as much as possible - the experience is above and beyond what is offered by WS or even AC. If Flair flies to the same location and is at least 25% cheaper than Porter, I'll go with them.
