Are there any renderings?
I, for once, am happy with wooden 6 stories if they are well done, but with this number of units, we're probably looking at something slightly taller, unless they're only building studios. Please don't be wooden 6 storeys, please don't be wooden 6 storeys, please don't be wooden 6 storeys....... Crap, 4 wooden 6 storeys......
Yup. Nothing wrong with 6 stories, it's a matter of the design. Big difference between a typical suburb build and a stuff like Stadium Yards or some of the great smaller stuff you see in other cities. Fingers crossed, I guess...I, for once, am happy with wooden 6 stories if they are well done, but with this number of units, we're probably looking at something slightly taller, unless they're only building studios.
I've heard that there are a couple of versions proposed, but they are still being finalized and incorporating feedback. I imagine something more final will be announced soon, now that they have submitted the DP.Are there any renderings?
I will be very curious to see where downtown population sits at by the end of the decade. On top of these we should still see the Stationlands second tower, Parks 2 and Falcon 2 (I don't remember how many units between them) and there are the 340 or so from the first couple of ICE District Phase two.At this rate we have a very good chance of possibly almost having 2,000 units being constructed at the same time downtown. 696 units is a big number.
And yes I'll update the spreadsheet with DPs
