Valley Line LRT | TransEd/Marigold | City of Edmonton

I'm late posting this, but starting March 3 the utility work along 104 Ave, between 109 St. and 124 St., massively expanded – both in terms of area closed off (which now includes the adjacent sidewalk), and in terms of number of people working on site. I used to see just three or four people there at a time, but now there's probably a dozen or more. They also seem to be working slightly longer - stopping work at around 5pm, whereas they were previously gone by then.

These pics are from March 7, and it's worth noting that the area dug by the excevator in the first pic is now covered with an orange tarp (they're still digging during the day).

Q4 report is up: VLW

35% as of end of 2024. Not sure how much they could have done for Q1 2025 but hopefully close to 40%.

Project schedule now says it will finish June 2028. Honestly not bad given the scale of this project and considering Covid, supply chain issues, inflation, skilled labour shortage and just how massive the project is.

So that’s 6 months behind then currently. Guess we’ll see where it lands
