    Municipal Politics

It helps when they get things like the demolition of their arena covered by the province or cleaning and maintenance of Deerfoot Trail while we pay for those equivalents among others on our own.

Not like it's London, though. 😉

    Downtown

105 st is definitely one of downtown's busier north/south streets for motor vehicles but its not such a pleasant or interesting street to walk down and not friendly to bike down. I'm questioning the locations of some of the EDBA's retail attraction program. But hope it will be successful.

Shovels in the ground this summer? A few months ago, you said this project was dead. See below from January. Was there a different project with the Hangar starting construction?

Interesting that you asked, because I had to call 311 again last night because the garbage was still there and some of it had been opened up and spread around. It took just a few minutes to re-bag it, but I was disappointed the city had marked the file as closed and yet hadn't been picked up...

PP, something some were worried about, was on fire yesterday, and produced at big moments. Hope that continues. And some good kills.

Anyone know when shared scooters, e-bikes will be available? I assume Lime and Bird are likely providers again?

Yup, would love more of these and some townhomes in the community. This, The Mercury, and Hat 122 all very different - each very welcome.

    Downtown Real Estate

Kudos to the city on this: "Wosnack (of Avison Young) praised the city’s speed in getting the development permit sorted. In other major cities, he said, the process is significantly longer. “If you were to build a new residential tower in Toronto, it’s three years to get a development permit,”...

Anyone know how this is priced versus The Mercury?

A buddy and I collected this around Royal Glenora Stairs on Saturday and called 311 for pick up.
