That's so bad. Getting around neighbourhoods as a pedestrian is really difficult. As the snow gets cleared off the road, drains get fully covered or iced over and it results in terrible conditions for active transportation on sidewalks and some shared use paths.

But full length windows on the doors versus the older models which are very tiny. That will bring in a lot of light and provide an open feel.

Plus, haven't some our recently built towers sold, including those in Ice District? Not sure if developers are getting a return from these sales or not, though. But the fact properties are being sold with possibly a return (maybe?) boosts confidence in building towers in Edmonton.

Update: The student housing funding is fully allocated. The city has allocated the funding to 5 projects, with 4 projects under agreements to date. It will release info about all 5 projects when last contract is signed but some developers may start to release on their own perhaps. Building...
