Missing the point. I am not singling out any single development. Its great that we have a super regional attraction at WEM. But why cant we also have interesting retail downtown and on high streets? The fact is, like Ian has noted, our overall retail offering skews wildy to suburban box stores...

MOU is to explore options near the Vancouver PNE and soon to be vacated race track. Very similar area to our exhibition grounds and race track. Hoping for some form of professional soccer to return to Edmonton.

That stat is wild! On the one hand I get why Edmonton might spend more on retail consumption, given larger disposable incomes and the variety of retail offerings available. On the other hand, surprised to see us so much higher than other cities and still have fewer urban retail options. Spoiled...

Leopold's is such a let down compared to the old strat.
