I figured since I got @'d I would come here and reply. I was surprised that there was so much negative reaction to the video I made (and spent quite a bit of time on) if I'm honest, but I guess I figured it would be more openly received - after all I've made ones with much more dramatic...
I will say that while I find the "urban LRT" thing very silly, I do think this info book is incredibly good.

That being said, they really need to protect for more grade separation. If they aren't doing...
I've considered moving to Alberta a bunch of times, but so far haven't been able to get over the relative lack of frequent transit compared to Metro Vancouver or Toronto. This makes me sad because I think the Albertan cities have enormous potential, and benefit a LOT from their geography...
Since this is the "LRT Expansion Planning" thread, I really recommend people go look in detail at a system like the Frankfurt U-Bahn, I will have a video on it soonish, but it uses the exact same standards and compatible vehicles to both Edmonton and Calgary (including the U2 back in the day)...

Rio has 7 segs :)
Hyundai has a mixed record in NA, their trains in the US have had a lot of issues (LA / Philly) but the trains in Vancouver are excellent. They haven't made many trams though, I really like the design here - full sized front door and the white door outlines look sharp. It's...
