You can thank a lack of maintenance on some of these rinks for that. I didn't say close them all down but...the City better be prepared to put money into them or sell them to groups who would be willing to upgrade or maintain them.

Yup, I think the days of single rinks are going away. Multi-sheet facilities need to happen for numerous reasons.

Either way, be nice to see some cranes going up.

Is there a way to make it safe for someone who is blind/issues with seeing safe to cross? That may be why the bells go off. I guess if there are pedestrian crossing arms that would be a deterrent too.

Is the bobsled track in Calgary no good anymore?

Apparently Council has a list of buildings they want to sell/demolish etc. but are keeping it private for now as they are allowed to do.
