    Edmonton Companies News & Discussion

We walk by it all the time, alas, our cat is so low maintenance he prefers playing with zip ties over cat toys and will not touch fancy cat food.

Walked by it yesterday and commented, again, what a handsome building it is! Fingers crossed on all appendages!

    Alberta Politics

Sadly, I agree. My family immigrated to Canada in 1982 and we started out in Red Deer before moving to Edmonton, which became my home base between multiple moves, near and far. My partner is a born-and-bred Albertan. But both of us feel we can no longer recognize this place and the kind of...

The one south of 107 Ave has been boarded up for a few weeks now and the one north of 107 Ave has looked closed as of...

Ah, but not great for the environment, alas.

    Miscellaneous

Having lived in Chicago, I can attest that Wrigley was fabulous. It was so nice to see something completely different, a stadium incorporated into the urban fabric coming wildly alive during games. Huge difference from the monolithic Soldier Field, a much more typical set-up.

    General Infill Discussion

Maybe, but it still looms over the neighbour, is architecturally dull, and contributes nothing to the pleasantness of the area. My cousin's family lives down this street and it went from being a very cute, cozy place filled with character, to an area of gargantuan, hideous, inelegant blocks that...
