Recall petition #3 - maybe more?

There are at least 7 more recall petitions. They haven't been approved yet by the regulator due to "capacity issues."

EDIT: Correction, 10 recall petitions are approved and 5 more are submitted, with an additional 2 actively working towards the recall quantity.

The day he starts screening his bulls for trans gender suitability he can comment on the subject. Until then he is just flaming anger and fear amongst the population. I can only imagine the children in school who have to tolerate the vile and humiliating abuse they will endure.

Yes, trying to distract people by having on line polls about less significant matters like license plates and speed limits to give the illusion of participation while taking away fundamental rights is deceptive. However, this is how Smith and her gang have operated for a long time so I am not surprised.

No doubt they also hope that their latest medical privatization plan will not get noticed in the uproar about the notwithstanding clause. It is very MAGA, creating a controversy to be a distraction from something else.
Yeah… but how do like those those license plates and the ability to drive faster!

6 more UCP legislature members facing recall petitions, including 5 from Calgary area

9 members of Alberta legislature now face approved recall petitions

Elections Alberta says six more members of Premier Danielle Smith's United Conservative Party caucus are facing recall petitions, bringing the total to nine.

The latest petitions are for cabinet ministers Rajan Sawhney (Calgary-North West), Myles McDougall (Calgary-Fish Creek), Dale Nally (Morinville-St. Albert) and RJ Sigurdson (Highwood).

They also target House Speaker Ric McIver (Calgary-Hays) and Muhammad Yaseen (Calgary-North), associate minister for multiculturalism.

Elections Alberta previously approved petitions to recall Education Minister Demetrios Nicolaides (Calgary-Bow), backbencher Nolan Dyck (Grande Prairie) and deputy Speaker Angela Pitt (Airdrie-East).

The approval process allows the person who launched the petition to collect signatures over a period of months in a constituency. If they collect enough, a vote is held on whether to recall the legislature member.

It's a long process, but if all nine MLAs are defeated in constituency votes, the United Conservatives would lose their majority status.

Keep 'em coming! :D
