If I'm not mistaken, the only banks that not in the ICE District are Bank of Montreal, ATB Financial and Laurentian.

I believe that is correct, although TD has a second location in City Centre and ATB also has two locations downtown (both not in ICE District - what rebels they are!).

Although, perhaps Laurentian which does not have a branch downtown, can join the bank district party, or as much of a party as it is, M - F from 9 to 5 (not open evenings, weekends or holidays). What a lively area it is.

Possible new CIBC location north of the Oilers store

There is restaurant space available in the NW corner of Stantec Tower. I'm hoping they can lure in the likes of an Earls or a Keg.
I still want to see an A&W in one of the ground level CRUs in homage to the one that was part of the old Greyhound terminal.

While there are various fast food places in nearby food courts, it would be good to see something you don't have to go into a building to access and something that could have more flexible hours.

It boggles the mind that ICE District is not on the radar of Earls, Keg or some other major chain and the only food and drink places here are bars, a coffee cart and a place in a clothing store.

It would be cool if it was replicated and, in particular, the miniature animatronic band was revived with updated robotics -- me sucking on a Strawberry shake through a candy-cane straw and faux-conducting with a french fry in hand. Imagine if the miniature band was electronically connected to jukebox selectors at each table that were enabled with era-respectful tunes of the fifties, sixties and seventies. I would dust off my Zoot-suit, Panama Hat, bright yellow silk tie, gold watch chain and my black-and-white wing tip shoes ready to doo-wop away the modern-day blues.

I'd take a regular coffee shop of some kind. The cart isn't that great.

Hey now I love Lui Chi's. I agree that a regular non-macro chain coffee shop would be good though.

There is a Tim Horton's in the COE Tower.

I'm still waiting for a Square 1, Colombian, Deville, Blenz or even a Second Cup to open in a ground-level CRU. Such a place should do well during the daytime, although I'm unsure about evenings.

Credo doesn’t even pretend it’s worth it in the evenings over in Enbridge, closed at 4.

Yes, that is worth pointing out and was in the back of my mind. I guess was thinking just of the buildings (particularly Stantec and Connect Centre) that face ICE District Plaza.

However, unlike many other parts of downtown, I actually feel this is a spot where something could do ok in the evenings.
