Thank God! I was getting a bit concerned that the upcoming municipal election would have been a dire choice for Mayor between Cartman (a closet UCP stooge who believes that Windermere is the centre of the universe) and TonCat (who should just retire and be sent down to the glue factory already).

I'm voting for Andrew Knack as Mayor of Edmonton!

I don't think many people really take Caterina that seriously any more and probably less so now that there is another credible current councilor running for mayor.

Its a free country and he can try again, but I feel he will not do any better than last time or when he lost provincially.

I’ve heard this rumour too. He’s suddenly reinserted himself in the limelight a bit.

I assumed for mayor. But might see facing off with Cartmell and knack as a bit tough.

I would love to have Stephen Mandel as mayor again! If he doesn't run, Andrew Knack seems to be the best choice for mayor by far.

Hamilton's seat is open, so if Mandel wants to be a councilor again, that ward would be ripe for his taking, I would bet.

Tons of new councillors last term and likely will be for this one too. Some experience doesn't hurt. Do we need "fresh ideas" or better execution and leadership of existing mandates?
