Between this POS 'Ol Smitty and Big Daddy Trump - "blaming us for HIS Tariffs. Insinuating the Ukraine invaded Russia." This is all nuts. Hopefully this era is being documented clearly as it will go down as the most F3cked up political times in the history of mankind.

The Premier doesn't unilaterally pass legislation - the article specifically mentions that this bill came from Minister Loewen multiple times.

I do disagree with the ability to hunt black bears & cougars for meat without preservation of the hide. It's hideously wasteful and encourages recreational shooting of two predators that are important parts of Alberta's forest ecosystem.

Just my two cents, but it seems like it's not even close to being one of the worst slated UCP bills.
 
I'm not a gun guy so the visual of a 12 year old holding a gun or even worse - a 12 year old in a wheelchair holding a gun...LOL......it's called "there's bigger fish to fry." Why is this even a "thing?"

I suppose this appeals to the gun crowd which is part of their base, but it probably turns off a lot of people too.

In Canada’s current mood, Smith seems far too cosy with the adversary. Saying our national government should be in lockstep with Trump’s “new direction” could hardly be more tone-deaf.

Now she’s widely condemned on social media as a traitor to Canada. This isn’t the look Albertans deserve from their premier.

Earlier in this monumental conflict with Trump, I’ve supported Smith’s lobbying efforts in the States. No more. Her advocacy has shaded into political meddling.
