I wonder if the trees would have received much sunlight, particularly between 100 and 102 Street. I wonder if flower pots might work instead.

Looking at some of the piers by Davies Station, it looks like a half dozen are patched up (like Measles), particularly at the top inside. Also,, looks like some digging around the piers near Coronet Road.

Backing out of Gerry Wright
Waiting for EPS and the Pilot Truck escorts to get setup and the time to hit 0000hrs - likely when their permit for the oversized load commenced
This is the ramp they were using to unload the cars downtown
1007 is loaded up tonight so if anyone is interested head to Gerry Wright around 0000hrs to catch the departure. Probably 0100 - 0200 for the unload downtown.

My take on the lack of trees in front of Milner (at least) is perhaps due to the Library Parkade and pedway directly underneath that area. Sunlight in front of the library wouldn't be too much of an issue, but possible depth of soil might be.

That reddit thread has a few people that have worked on the project chiming in. Seems like quite the dumpster fire. We've seen some of it in person down here in Millwoods, but WOW!

It's an incredibly complex project that faced multiple hurdles and is highly visible, but man what a mess.
