    Miscellaneous

Yes, looks like it. Seems a bit like a gas station convenience store without the gas station. Interesting idea. Here is some more information about it. https://www.chargestopev.com/about

    LRT Expansion Planning

I could get psychologically that once you start driving from Millwoods you may just continue all the way to your destination. It probably would work better if the station with the large parking area was a bit closer to the end of the line, but perhaps in time it may get more use. More TOD...

    New Zoning Bylaw

Its only the conspiracy theorists, who in their limited imaginations, will be prevented from going to other districts. For the most part, I already spend much of my time in my own area. Maybe some people enjoy traffic and going all the way across the city, but I prefer if I can access more...

    LRT Expansion Planning

Exactly, as the city grows and becomes bigger expanded LRT and transit will take some of the pressure off of the road system and parking which is hard to expand in an urban built up environment.

    Alberta Politics

When Smith uses her power to hurt others, some of her more extreme supporters cheer her on. Then they pretend to wonder why she is not welcome there. However, I realize that not all conservative people in our province support her on what she has done, a number don't. I expect they would be...

I do hope the Feds will step up here.

    Edmonton International Airport (EIA/YEG)

It is odd and a bit concerning that domestic travel is down, but transborder and international seems to be doing fairly well. I think in the long run that is a good sign.

Jasper Avenue New Vision / Imagine Jasper Avenue

We don't have the culture and attitude of care for the space around businesses, that say many European places do. We can do better. The chains and franchises are the worst, many small businesses do make more effort.

    LRT Expansion Planning

Some areas will develop faster for TOD than others, but it should continue to be encouraged and supported. We are not a downtown centric city, like some others (ex. Calgary or Toronto), so a LRT that allows people to travel between various areas is good, so encouraging TOD such as Century Park...

Here is a very nice custom home, hard to believe this is new. https://www.msn.com/en-ca/money/other/urbis-infill-homes-builds-on-bringing-vision-into-creation/ar-BB1mAv0o?ocid=hpmsn&cvid=0e9f8f4d96814c29a1a57007f1a84264&ei=23

    Edmonton Real Estate Market

As well as SFH, we beat Toronto (and everyone else) on row houses and respectable numbers on apartments too.

    Misc. Infrastructure Projects

Yes. I think the constraints of the slope may be an issue and I wonder if they were waiting for the development nearby (Sedona) to occur, which looked like it would free up some space on the other side of the road.

    Misc. Parks and Greenspace Projects

In the long run keeping the meddling politicians and their cohorts with their grand, but often unrealistic plans out, might be the best thing. A number of areas in this city have been damaged or destroyed by bad planning in the past

EVER (on Baseline Commercial Plaza) | Ever Red

I think the conventional thinking about suburban development in Canada will have to change a lot over the next decade. First, in many cities there are limits on the amount of land available, so development will need to be done differently and better. Second, a lot of younger people are not...
