It's been five long months since we last checked in on ONE Properties' and Revera Living's Glenora Park project, and excavation is continuing and nearing the bottom.

Located on 102 Avenue at Clifton Place, just above the Groat Ravine, the three square pits shown in the photo indicate that foundation work should be starting soon, and the underground parkade structure should begin to rise shortly after.

The Wallman Architects-designed building is set to rise to a height of 82 metres and 22 storeys when complete. Renderings indicate the tower will be clad in light and dark glazed window wall with black and white spandrel, partially enclosed balconies, and with red brick on the first podium level.

When complete, Glenora Park will provide 290 units of retirement living at the western edge of Oliver, near the popular 124 Street gallery and shopping district - an area set to grow substantially in the next few years with a number of new proposals currently in the development pipeline.
