The City of Edmonton will soon begin construction upon the new and improved Mill Woods Transit Centre in Southeast Edmonton. The new facility will replace the old one, and will include a direct connection to the Valley Line LRT upon the latter's completion. The station will also include a large heated shelter, a covered walkway, a Kiss and Ride/passenger drop-off location, public washrooms, and space for small kiosks.

In anticipation of the construction and eventual opening and daily operation of the new Mill Woods Transit Centre, the City will be hosting a public drop-in session on August 20, 2019 from 3-7PM at the nearby Mill Woods Town Centre. Members of the public will have the opportunity to learn, and inquire about, the project from city staff.
