Two months since our last update, and 121 West in the Brewery District has made significant gains. The 8-storey, mixed-use residential project by Regency Developments and DER + Associates has now risen six storeys above grade, with just two more to go before topping off.

Kitty-corner to the old Molson Brewery, 121 West, at 121 St NW and 105 Ave NW, has begun to nicely fill-out the site. Part of the urban transformation now underway within the up-and-coming Brewery District, 121 West will soon deliver upwards of 350 residents spread across the project's 244 units.

Arranged in a rough "C" configuration, 121 West will feature something of a rear courtyard, while the front will be treated to a mix of materials and aesthetic volumes. A mix of heights will also be incorporated into the design, the tallest section to be 8 storeys, with the rest to stand at just six.

The front of the structure will be faced in a multitude of materials, including coloured spandrel, cement, brick, and stone. Suites will range from 560-1,300 sq. ft., with prices starting in the low 200k's.

SkyriseEdmonton will be sure to return to this project as progress continues. For more information, check out the associated Database file and Forum thread, and as always, feel free to join the conversation in the comments section below.
