Two months since our last update, and progress at the Augustana by Pangman and DIALOG has moved ahead by leaps and bounds. The entirety of the three-storey retail podium has been poured and set, leaving the rise of the 30-storey residential tower to commence in earnest.

Located, as the name suggests, upon the former site of the Augustana Lutheran Church at the corner of 107 St NW and 99 Ave, Augustana will serve to breathe new life into the Government District. Set to be home to upwards of 300 residents spread across 230 units, Augustana will be a welcome addition to part of the core that has yet to see a major population boom.

Close to Japser Ave, transit, and many local shops, restaurants, and services, Augustana will be a prime address for those looking for a residential vibe within a modern highrise. Moreover, the inclusion of a row of ground floor retail will help bring some added vitality to the area.

Part of the ongoing transformation of the Government District, as more and more high-density residential projects begin to appear throughout the neuighbourhood, Augustana is but the latest manifestation of the current trend.

SkyriseEdmonton will be sure to return to this project as progress continues. For more information, check out the associated Database file and Forum thread, and as always, feel free to join the conversation in the comments section below.
