Two months since we last checked in at Central Tower at Century Park, and progress has been moving along swiftly. Glazing and cladding work now appears across the vast majority of the 18-storey, residential high-rise, it to not be long before the project is structurally complete.

Designed by Humphreys & Partners Architects and Manasc Isaac for ProCura, the 176-unit Central Tower at Century Park features a largely symmetrical, angular, glass-clad exterior, accented only by a few solitary columns of white spandrel paneling. Viewed below, Central Tower sits handsomely on its site, its glassy exterior reflecting nicely against the temporary "Central Lake" that has formed over the course of the spring.

Located at the corner of 109 St NW and 25 Ave NW, Central Tower at Century Park will bring its nearly 250 residents to the heart of Ermineskin, deep within the realm of suburban south Edmonton. Connected to the core via major roadways, and close to several major shopping centres, Central Tower at Century Park will be an attractive option for those looking for condo living in a suburban setting.

Viewed above, construction on the presentation centre is also making steady progress, prospective buyers to soon be able to come in and get a taste of the various residential options on offer. Once complete, Central Tower will be but a small part of what will eventually become a 4,000-unit mega development within Century Park.

SkyriseEdmonton will be sure to return to this project as progress continues. For more information, check out the associated Database file and Forum thread, and as always, feel free to join the conversation in the comments section below.
