Six weeks since we last checked in at Encore Tower and progress at the 47-storey high-rise development by Westrich Pacific has been moving along nicely. Now standing more than a dozen storeys above grade, the tower and podium have already begun to change the surrounding streetscape.

The mixed-use Encore Tower will eventually become home to upwards of 300 residents, to be spread across 179 units of varying size. The three-storey podium will dedicated to commercial space, with a contiguous strip of ground floor retail.

Located at the corner of 103 St NW and 102 Ave NW, Encore Tower is well-situated within the downtown core, close to the City Centre mall, YMCA, and nearby ICE District. Dub Architects designed the project, the tower to be clad in a curtain wall of glass, the podium to receive a somewhat more traditional brick exterior owing to the nature of the streetscape.

Close as well to transit, and the many shops, restaurants, and entertainment options found across the core, Encore Tower will be a popular address for those looking to live in the heart of the action.

SkyriseEdmonton will be sure to return to this project as progress continues. For more information, check out the associated Database file and Forum thread, and as always, feel free to join the conversation in the comments section below.
