The soon-to-open Premium Outlet Collection Edmonton International Airport will be anchored by six tenants, owners Ivanhoé Cambridge and Simon Property Group have announced. Designer Shoe Warehouse, Forever 21, H&M, Nike, Old Navy and Marshalls are the leading brands in the $215 million project, which will feature up to 100 stores.

The fully enclosed 428,000-square-foot outlet shopping centre, the only one of its kind in Edmonton, has set an opening date of May 2nd. From fast food establishments like Starbucks and KFC to clothing brands Adidas and Lacoste, the mall is expected to employ 1,000 full- and part-time staff.

"This unique centre is expected to be a sought-after shopping destination, drawing value-seeking, fashion-conscious shoppers, travellers in transit and tourists visiting the province."

Those interested in grabbing a position at one of the stores can attend a job fair this weekend, which is being held from 11 AM to 4 PM in the Cartier Ballroom at the Renaissance Edmonton Airport Hotel.
