I believe this site / project is now being stickhandled by the City of Edmonton (not Homeward Trust) and is back out to RFP, so this concept design may not be the same when it's all said and done.

Would be great if more of the suburban apartment buildings being built had this type of interesting design and didn't look like ugly suburban homes on steroids.

I hadn't seen it mentioned anywhere else, so I'll leave this here. Apparently there was a press conference earlier this week talking about the funding for the Wellington and King Edward Park housing projects:

Edmonton will use its $17.3 million from the federal government's Rapid Housing Initiative to build 80 units in King Edward Park and Wellington.
