Not quite. From my understanding missing middle generally encompasses semi-detached houses to small apartment buildings (8-10 units), along with secondary suites and backyard houses. The lines get blurry for sure, but 4+ storey buildings are almost always higher-density developments. Edmonton is addressing the missing middle now for sure but we still need more, preferably with better quality design and construction lol
I've approached and passed this building after dark from every direction in the past few weeks, and I find the lights overpowering and garish. I don't think it works at all for this quiet stretch of 100 Ave.
