If all the TOD's along the LRT lines get developed, that would be a whole lot of units. Just image how population dense it could be from Bonnie Doon to Strathearn if they would only start building.

I'm not sure if this is really where people prefer to live, but they can be built quickly and turned over to make a fast buck.

Reminds me of the Kingsway stop that isn't even close to Kingsway.

It's literally on Kingsway Ave. But if you mean the mall, they wanted nothing to do with an LRT stop.

Truth. Imagine the agglomeration economy (remember this word from university lol) that could thrive with restaurants here?

There’s a lot of wealth between Strathearn, Holyrood (my son calls it Hollywood), Bonnie Doon, King Edward, Strathcona, and Idylwylde to support a lot more sit down restaurants.

There’s a lot of wealth between Strathearn, Holyrood (my son calls it Hollywood), Bonnie Doon, King Edward, Strathcona, and Idylwylde to support a lot more sit down restaurants.

Especially with the LRT there now, making it a great "lazy" destination to go to. People just need to hop on a train and wait a few stops, versus dealing with traffic and parking, or figuring out the bus system (unless they use it regularly). I think this'll make this location more competitive than similar restaurants for at least a few people near the line.

While it IS lacking, there are a few nice options none the less in the general area on top of the Rickys (not Smittys).

Ragazzi, Duggan's Boundary, Bulgogi House, Sweet Mango. Needs a lot more, and a couple chains would likely help, but there are some gems there too

Well, technically it is on Kingsway Avenue. It's also intended to serve the Royal Alex Hospital, which is adjacent.

Kingsway Mall is fairly easily accessible from both Kingsway/Royal Alex Station and NAIT/Blatchford Gate.
