I'm just happy that the warehouse District especially is getting its Renaissance of sorts right now. In about three to four years time I think this whole area will almost be unrecognizable compared to a couple years ago when just before the park got built.

What did they look like? Similar to stuff you find north of Grant Mac?

I recall there was an old three storey in the parking lot west of BP, similar to some other old buildings on Jasper Ave, but perhaps more run down. Then there was the big garage space for the car dealership (Healy), this was just one storey and fairly plain, directly north of BP where the park is now and covered about 2 parking lots. Those are the only ones I remember
