Yeah I'd love more towers, but filling up empty lots with practically anything better should be the priority.I rode by this last week and was surprised anything was being developed. I was hoping for towers too, but I'd rather this than 20 more years of surface parking lot across the street from a beautiful park. Same with what looks like a substantial downsizing of The Shift. It'll build momentum towards the bigger picture -- Parks 2, the eventual redevelopment of Boston Pizza, etc.
Vibrant downtowns and city centres don't always need to be filled with high rises.
