I have to say, I feel some bad choices have been made to the cantilever arms/ lighting infrastructure along 104th and into/ out of Glenora. It's all so steel and grey and boring. Even the adjacent pathway lighting along 104th ave is that industrial steel. Blah. One would have thought some more consideration would have gone into making such necessary infrastructure more elegant looking; even just say a wrought-iron black to match the style of the Glenora streetlamps.

I do think it's reasonable to suggest that those planning these decisions have some more vision themselves, though.

Originally in the concept it was planned for glenora and 104ave to have nicer OCS. Clearly that did not happen.

I would assume long term? But it might be a partial to complete some deep utility work

We're getting more info next week. I would assume it's for most of this season, as they want to complete most of the roadwork on 102 avenue by end of 2026 to it's permanent new configuration.

I'm interested to know how this will affect trying to cross at 104 St during the farmers market, or trying to cross at 103 St during the NHL playoffs.

Full notice. It seems like the full closure will remain in place until the end of 2026, but some access points will change in 20 weeks.

They're really trying to get that "all trackwork done with testing by end of 2026" a thing aren't they?
